Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Conekt is a random 1:1 video-chat app for adults 18+. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.

2.3 Video and AudioPeer-to-peer video and audio streams travel directly between matched users using WebRTC. We do not route, record, or store live video or audio streams on our servers.2.4 Third-Party ServicesWe use third-party services for authentication, data storage, subscription management, and video connectivity. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the data each service needs to function.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authentication — to verify your identity and maintain your session.
  • Matching — to pair you with another user for a video call.
  • Safety — to investigate abuse, enforce bans, and keep the platform safe.
  • Subscriptions — to determine your tier (free vs. Pro) and enforce limits accordingly.
  • Safety — to detect and prevent violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Legal compliance — to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

4. Data Retention

5. Children's Privacy

Conekt is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it immediately and delete associated data. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us at the address in Section 10.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: all data in transit is encrypted (TLS); Supabase row-level security restricts data access so users can only read their own records; authentication is delegated to Google. No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, export a copy of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account deletion feature or contact us at the address in Section 10.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than the one where you reside, including the United States, where Supabase and RevenueCat operate infrastructure. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
