Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Conekt ("the App", "we", "us", "our") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and the operator of Conekt.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Conekt. By using the App you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We enforce this requirement both in the app and at the database level. Accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated immediately and permanently.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at the address in Section 15.

Conekt uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe these Terms have been violated.

Your display name, date of birth, gender, avatar, and country are collected during onboarding and stored on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate.

You agree not to:

• Use the App if you are under 18.
• Appear nude, semi-nude, or engage in sexual acts on camera.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users.
• Transmit content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
• Expose private information about another person without their consent (doxxing).
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the App.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its backend.
• Use the App to solicit money, goods, or services from other users.
• Attempt to record, screenshot, or redistribute another user's video without their consent.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, reports to relevant authorities.

You retain ownership of any content you share in the App (your camera feed, display name, avatar). By using the App you grant us a limited license to transmit your content to your matched partner.

Peer-to-peer video streams are transmitted directly between users and are not recorded by us.

We employ human moderators who may review activity to enforce these Terms. Users may be banned without warning for violations. Bans are enforced at the account and device level. Ban evasion (creating a new account after a ban) is a violation of these Terms.

Conekt offers a Pro subscription with additional features. Pricing and available packages are displayed in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the platform you subscribed on. We do not issue refunds except as required by law.

The Conekt name, logo, and all app content created by us are our property. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without written permission.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, that matches will be made within any specific timeframe, or that other users will comply with these Terms. You use the App at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conekt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conekt and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, inactivity, or closure of the service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
